Rapper Snoop Dogg was offered $194 for costing him $7 million NFT

The musician, also known as digital art collector Cozomo de'Medici, complained about the lack of demand for his tokens

Rapper Snoop Dogg has been offered $194 for an NFT that previously went for $7 million after the musician complained about the lack of demand for a rare "Right Click and Save As" token from his collection.

Known on social network X as NFT collector Cozomo de'Medici, the rapper purchased the animated digital image of "Right Click and Save As" for $7 million (1.6k ETH at an exchange rate of about $4.4k) in late 2021.

According to portal Dappradar, his NFT collection is now valued at $2.47 million at just one of Snoop Dogg's known addresses, although it was worth over $17 million in November 2021. The musician owns many expensive NFTs: rare CryptoPunks, Meebits, and items from the generative art series Art Blocks.

In addition to collecting digital tokens, Snoop Dogg is actively issuing them himself and promoting the industry. In mid-July, he helped raise $20 million for Sound, a music NFT startup. The funds are intended to hire new employees and expand the project into the online music space, including mobile devices.

In March this year, the American rapper co-founded the blockchain-based live-streaming platform Shiller. This platform allows content creators to manage and monetize content without the involvement of intermediaries.
