Deribit crypto-exchange suspended withdrawal of funds after $28 million hack
The company stressed that customer funds remain safe, as losses are compensated by reserves
The largest bitcoin options crypto exchange lost $28 million in a hacking attack. The company has suspended withdrawals.
"Deribit's hot wallet has been compromised, but customer funds are safe. The losses are being offset by the company's reserves," Deribit said in a statement.
